Regina and I (Shannon) had such a wonderful time photographing Ruthie and Brandon’s wedding at Hillsboro Church of Christ! Ruthie and Brandon met in college and the wedding party felt like a college reunion with all of their friends serving as attendants. I love it when everyone in the wedding party knows one another – it makes for fun pictures!
The wedding was in the evening, which meant lots of pretty light for photographing the couple and their families. I love the little touches that make every wedding unique. Ruthie’s something old was her grandmother’s wedding ring. I also loved how she had all of her single bridesmaids sign the bottom of her wedding shoes – too cute! The couple celebrated with friends and family at a garden and birdcage themed dessert reception, complete with an indoor gazebo and chocolate fountain.
